AIDA – AI-Driven Discovery Tools

The AI-Driven Discovery Assistant (AIDA) transforms research discovery from keyword searches to natural language conversations, directly answering researchers’ specific questions based on scientific literature. AIDA will integrate the White-Label Discovery Platform, allowing a seamless process from content discovery to AI-assisted analysis and conversation.

AIDA employs Generative AI and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), leveraging open-source LLMs rather than commercial AI services. AIDA will build upon the GoTriple chatbot, an experimental implementation that, albeit with a limited number of documents (~3.200), proved to be very effective as a research tool.

A first implementation of AIDA will allow users to interact with their collection of documents, created by searching and browsing the content of the White-Label Discovery Platform.
