SUMMARY:GoTriple’s developments: Knowledge graphs and responsible metrics for SSH assessment
DESCRIPTION:GoTriple offers a powerful gateway to explore multilingual and diverse SSH research. This webinar will showcase new discovery and enrichment features developed through LUMEN and GRAPHIA. Attendees will gain insight into how GoTriple’s evolving technical infrastructure supports more responsible and inclusive research assessment. The session will also highlight the careful use of quantitative metrics and the value of knowledge graphs for understanding SSH research landscapes. Register here.

SUMMARY:The LUMEN Data Mesh: Connecting Science Across Domains Through Community-owned Data
DESCRIPTION:Register by clicking here. \n\n\n\nA climate scientist discovers a sociology dataset that transforms her research. A mathematician finds Earth observation data that validates his model; these scenarios are exactly what the LUMEN Data Mesh is designed to make possible. \n\n\n\nToday\, scientific data is often locked within disciplinary silos. Communities maintain their own catalogues\, standards\, and vocabularies\, and for good reason: they know their data best. But what if they could make it discoverable by others\, without giving up control? \n\n\n\nThe LUMEN Data Mesh offers a decentralised alternative to traditional centralised platforms. Built around the concepts of data products and data contracts\, it lets each scientific community retain full ownership and governance of its data\, while making it findable and reusable across domains. This framework will serve as the technological cornerstone of the LUMEN Meta-Search Service. \n\n\n\nIn this webinar\, we’ll walk you through the architecture\, show you how it works with a concrete cross-domain scenario\, and (most importantly) we want to hear from you: what cross-domain data challenges do you face\, and how could a federated approach help? \n\n\n\nFormat: A 90-minute interactive webinar combining a 30-minute presentation\, a 15-minute live walkthrough of a cross-domain scenario\, and a 30-minute participatory session powered by Mentimeter. The webinar will be recorded and made available afterwards. \n\n\n\nWho is this for? Researchers\, data stewards\, and infrastructure managers who work across (or want to work across) disciplinary boundaries. Whether you’re in Social Sciences\, Mathematics\, Earth Systems\, or Molecular Dynamics\, if you’ve ever wished you could find data beyond your own community’s catalogue\, this webinar is for you. No prior knowledge of data mesh concepts needed.

SUMMARY:Webinar Making meaningful data work together
DESCRIPTION:Exploring interoperability\, semantic artefacts\, and scalable solutions with ATRIUM and LUMEN\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister here. \n\n\n\nWhat does it take for research data to travel across disciplines\, languages\, and borders? A webinar on 12 May\, 11 CEST\, will explore how interoperability and semantic artefacts\, such as shared vocabularies\, ontologies\, and metadata schemas\, can transform the way research data is shared\, reused\, and scaled across Arts\, Social Sciences\, and Humanities.  \n\n\n\nThe session will unpack why interoperability matters and clarify the role and value of semantic artefacts. Drawing on the FAIR principles\, the speakers will examine key challenges in data integration and will present concrete solutions to address them. They will also emphasise the growing need to industrialise the creation and management of semantic artefacts to make research infrastructures more efficient\, sustainable\, and interoperable at scale. \n\n\n\nThis online session\, organised jointly by ATRIUM and LUMEN EU-funded projects\, is aimed at project communities and researchers working with semantic artefacts: including ontologies\, controlled vocabularies\, and metadata schemas. \n\n\n\nSpeakers:  \n\n\n\n\nMassimiliano Carloni (OEAW / ATRIUM)\n\n\n\nJulien Homo (Foxcub / ATRIUM & LUMEN)\n\n\n\nFlorian Lemoine (e-Science Data Factory / LUMEN)\n\n\n\n\nJoin us! You can register here. \n\n\n\nAbout ATRIUM: ATRIUM aims to exploit and strengthen complementarities between leading European infrastructures – DARIAH\, ARIADNE\, CLARIN\, and OPERAS – in order to provide vastly improved access to state-of-the-art services available to researchers across countries\, languages\, domains and media.  \n\n\n\nAbout LUMEN:The LUMEN project aims to advance cross-domain collaboration and discovery processes in four academic fields: Mathematics (Maths)\, Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH)\, Earth System (ES) and Molecular Dynamics (MD). Through interdisciplinary solutions spanning all four domains\, LUMEN sets out to significantly improve discovery by innovation\, simplifying initial research phases and facilitating access to advanced AI-powered tools for researchers.
